El Ministro de Aguas, Servicios Públicos y Medio Ambiente, Antonio Ciancio, dijo que no está en estudio un incremento en las tarifas eléctricas, al menos durante el tiempo que le resta al actual gobierno. “Las nuevas autoridades establecerán los rumbos que quieran tomar en ese sentido", indicó el funcionario provincial.
En el marco de un encuentro del que participaron las empresas distribuidoras de energía eléctrica de la Región Centro, el ministro de Aguas, Servicios Públicos y Medio Ambiente, Antonio Ciancio, descartó un inminente incremento en las facturas de la EPE. El funcionario señaló que por un desequilibrio en los subsidios nacionales, es muy difícil mantener las tarifas, pero que en este momento no está en estudio aumentar.
“Las nuevas autoridades de la provincia establecerán los rumbos que quieran tomar en ese sentido, pero es muy difícil seguir una situación de doble imposición. Por un lado hacer más obras, atender a la problemática social y, por el otro lado, seguir con un ritmo tarifario que no atiende al menos lo que significan los desplazamientos que tiene la economía día a día”, indicó.
En el mismo sentido, en diálogo con Diario UNO, el presidente del directorio de la EPE, Daniel Cantalejo, contó que el documento elaborado por las empresas plantea definiciones sobre estas problemáticas y, entre otros, los tópicos que aborda son el respeto de las jurisdicciones provinciales en materia de precios de energía y el tratamiento de los grandes clientes.
“Hoy un emprendimiento nuevo en Santa Fe paga lo mismo de energía que una industria ya asentada, y esto afecta a nuestra industria láctea y frena las posibilidades productivas dentro de la región”, indicó.
El documento propone además promover la cogeneración eléctrica dentro de la provincia, y al respecto el presidente de la EPE contó que esto a nivel nacional permitiría una eficiencia mayor en la industria. También se pidió a futuro fortalecer las políticas de subsidios para los sectores que lo necesitan e ir quitándoselos gradualmente a los que no lo requieren.
Otro de los aspectos que señalan en conjunto las empresas, es la profundización de las energías renovables y políticas de promoción para industrias que tienen dentro de su matriz de costos una incidencia importante en materia de energía eléctrica y que por este motivo podrían llegar a tener problemas con la inserción de sus productos en el ámbito internacional.
“Se trata de una propuesta muy abarcativa, muy concreta y además avanza en algunos anexos con mucho nivel de detalle, con lo cual entendemos que lo que estamos haciendo con esto es ofrecer soluciones al futuro gobierno nacional para que se puedan corregir las deformaciones que ha tenido la política actual”, manifestó Cantalejo.
